This week Dina was able to spend a little time talking to Ann Walker about California’s AB166.  When signed into law, this amenment to the states educational code would allow unprecidented access to sex segregated facilities, activities and carrer counseling to gender diverse students through outthe California School System. Also known as the Transgender Student Bill of Rights, AB1266 would be an amazing step towards tolerance and equality for transgender people and would give students the opportunity for success in education.
